About Her
I am a normal woman and have children and grand children whom I adore. I can be serious but have a fun side as well.
I still work full time, because I like to be busy.
I love the outdoors and would rather go for a walk in nature than going to the Mall.
I love water, even though I am not very fond of swimming, but I can sit on the beach and look at the waves for hours or enjoy a beautiful waterfall or a little stream flowing through pebbles....
I also like fire and watch the flames and enjoy a good conversation in front of a fire place or next to a camping fire. With a bottle of red wine on the side obviously.
I love camping in the bush and to eat a nice steak that was cooked over the fire. Of course there should be ablution facilities with warm water nearby.
I am comfortable in shorts or my jeans, but also like to dress up for a formal occasion. And you can treat me with dining out in a good restaurant.
I have my own opinions and will stand by them without getting aggressive - I enjoy a good conversation on an interesting topic.
I am interested in history, especially ancient history and archaeology and still want to learn a lot more about that.
I love listening to good music - from Baroque to World and all in between - and reading good books, preferably best sellers. And I enjoy watching good movies.
I can cook, knit and sew....
About Her Ideal Match
I am looking for a best friend and soul mate - somebody who will eventually know everything about me, good or bad, and still want to be my friend. Even if it never develops into a relationship, I have a few prerequisits:
He should have integrity in all circumstances - if your age is incorrect or your photo older than two years, you are dishonest.
He should have a good general knowledge and be able to take part in conversations. He should have his own opinions and stand by them.
He should have a love for music and reading.
He should own a tent and camping equipment and take me to camp frequently.
He will also be able and enjoy it to just stay home, prepare food together and spend peaceful and relaxing time together.
A fine upbringing with knowledge of etiquette and old school good manners will be an asset.
